Tourism
Travel to Myersia is currently by personal invitation of the Royal Family only. This is even true for virtual citizens of Myersia. However, for those fortunate few who do get an opportunity to visit, a trip to Myersia is a treat not soon forgotten. Myersia does not have towering mountains, bustling cities, or stunning beaches like many macronation destinations. What it does have is a slow, relaxed lifestyle and a genuine warmth and hospitality that only a micronation can provide.

One of the best things Myersia has going for it is its climate. It can be quite hot and humid in the summer, but winters are fairly mild, with few days below freezing, and often many days in winter are sunny and warm enough that only a sweater or light to medium jacket are required. During the heat of the summer, a pool is available for cooling off. Guests of the Royal Family may also be invited to a nearby club with large pool, tennis courts, playground, and sports court.

Activities
Myersia's National Zoo and Aquarium is a top attraction for residents and visitors alike. Its main draw is "The Amazon Rainforest Experience," a recreation of a clearwater stream and its bank in the Amazon region of South America. The land section has 12 different species of plants including palms and bromeliads, and a waterfall that cascades into the aquatic section, which houses 5 more species of plants (aquatic, of course), and various species of colorful fish native to the Amazon River system. The zoo also houses smaller temporary exhibits from time to time, and also encompasses the outdoor botanical gardens, a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat, and of course, the Myersian Sea.

Housed alongside the Zoo and Aquarium's indoor area is the National Museum. It contains artifacts collected from around the world, with its African, Japanese, Greek, and Italian collections being especially well-curated. Myersville also has a well-stocked library.

The Myersville Cineplex regularly shows both new and older films.

The best activity in Myersia is no activity. Sit inside with the Royal Family and other friends of the Royal Family, enjoying Myersia's hospitality.

Or, sit outside, on the Grand Plaza, with its waterfront right on the Myersian Sea, whose clear, dark, cool waters are teeming with mosquitofish, sailfin mollies, shrimp and snails -and now two beautiful introduced fish species: blue gouramis and paradise fish. At night, underwater lights silouette the fish and cast shadows with the surrounding vegetation. In the summertime, the Myersian Sea abounds with even more life, as it plays nursery to the tadpoles of the gulf coast toad, southern leopard frog, and dragonflies in neon hues of blue and red lay their eggs. Whether enjoying the wildlife and tranquility the Sea offers with an icy cocktail during the day, or sipping a glass of wine in an outdoor cafe setting along the waterfront with its underwater lights at night, the Myersian Sea certainly is the focal point of outdoor life in Myersia.

While the sea may be the focal point, it is by no means the only outdoor area worth seeing. The whole of Myersia abounds with natural beauty. All of Myersia has mature oak trees which are home to grey squirrels, woodpeckers, eastern screech owls various songbirds, and the country is in the range of a feral peacock population. South Central Myersia, especially around and just south of the lake, is distinctly tropical in feel with palm trees, banana trees, and other tropical foliage. Found among these plants are the color-changing anoles, and geckos. The Southwest is the heartland, where most of the seasonal produce is produced, as well as being the Vineyard Country of Myersia. Around Myersville, citrus and olives are cultivated, and in the north part of the country, crab apples are grown, promising a cottage industry for hard apple cider and spiced preserved crab apples.

All this agricultural bounty gives a great reason to visit Myersia - for the food. The best time for fresh produce is May and early June, when the tomatoes are at their best. Summer is also the best time for outdoor cooking, especially barbecue. Pork roasts, beef roasts, and sausages are smoked in the style of German-Texan barbecue, like that found in the part of Texas nearest to Myersia, which was settled by German immigrants. Pork ribs are smoked in a Caribbean style that has also been brought to Myersia. One of Myersia's most popular venues is a tiki bar that serves tropical drinks in various decorative ceramic tiki mugs.

Of course, any time is a good time to visit Myersia, food-wise. Myersians pride themselves on their cooking skills, and cusine from Europe, Asia, and Latin America is regularly served here. The best times to find this cuisine are during festivals, such as royal birthdays, and the annual Oktoberfest, which specializes in German fare.

Accomodations
Myersia has only one major hotel, the Royal Myersian, with one room with queen-sized bed. Service is excellent, and meals are included in the cost of the room, which is free to guests of the Royal Family.
